Creating Love Ruby and the jewellery has been a labour of love. It was a trip to New York that first got me interested in beads. Up and down Sixth Avenue were shops just selling beads – well that’s where all my holiday money went.
Since then I have taken courses in jewellery making, including silversmithing and every spare hour has been used to master a range of techniques and to create my own line of jewellery.
From making gifts for friends and family and specially commissioned pieces, I am now ready to go further a field.
You will see from my collection that I love colour and bold statement pieces. When you wear my jewellery I want it to complete any outfit and lead to complements from friends - and strangers.
I take great pride in my work, and design and create every single piece myself (thanks to my Dad for building my workbench).
